April M. Reid- HR Specialist / Office Manager
April Reid has been an Office Manager and HR Specialist since 2007 for various companies in the Washington DC, metropolitan area. April’s energetic and reliable; she’s skilled at working with a diverse group of people. She’s demonstrated strong organization, communication, and relationship-building skills. She’s eager to bring strong administrative skills to a growing non-profit, faith based company in need of top-level support.
April will bring a sound knowledge base of the District of Columbia’s Labor and Employment Laws; which would allow her to provide policy interpretation and ensure accurate and consistent application of all organization policies and procedures in accordance with federal and state laws.
April Reid also attended The University of District of Columbia Community College in 2013 and received her Clinical Medical Assistant Certification. April is currently CPR and BLS Certified. April is passionate and determined to make a difference in the lives of the people we serve through a person-centered program geared to promote a positive self-image. She’s committed to the spiritual, intellectual development of youth, and their economic empowerment. She applies the following: respect for self, for family, spirituality, justice and integrity.
April’s duties and responsibilities for Alpha & Omega Community Service include staff and volunteers recruitment as well as development/retention.
