Program History

Alpha & Omega Community Services Corporation; is a nonprofit, faith based, public charity organization. Our “Cubs to Lions Youth Mentoring Program “was founded in 2010, primarily because of the belief that the youth of the District of Columbia lacked meaningful life skills guidance.

We are determined to make a difference in the lives of the youth we serve through a person centered program geared to promote a positive self image for youth’s ages 11-18 years of age.

Our program will consist of but not limited to the following: free counseling, tutoring, health & wellness education, and mentoring services.

Many of these children are at risk because most of them come from broken or abusive homes, and I am hoping that our organization will be a haven for them, whenever they need it.

With initial financial commitments from community members and local business, Alpha & Omega Community Services Corporation was formulated as a nonprofit IRS 501 (c) 3.

We are committed to the spiritual, intellectual development of youth, and their economic empowerment- based on the following: respect for self and family, spirituality, justice, and integrity.

We exist to Glorify God, by making disciples that Reach Up, Reach In, and Reach Out
